New Women Air Jordan 3 Retro Girls "Bel-Air" 2015

Worn by Will countless times on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, we see the Women Air Jordan 3 Retro sporting a predominantly grey-based color scheme with vibrant accents throughout. We see their sockliner covered in a unique Fresh Prince-inspired pattern, matching the predominantly purple midsoles below. Mismatched Jumpman logos are also put to use on the AJ 3’s 3M reflective tongue, seen in neon green and pink. The color combination really gives off a "Fresh Prince" look, taking its accent colors right off of Will Smith's often neon colored outfits. The use of the club pink and electric green adds a nice contrast to the very neutral cool grey brushed suede upper. Both shoes share a black tongue, club purple midsole and electric green rubber outsole with translucent rubber sections. However, each shoe has a different inner lining, both which feature a pattern inspired by the t-shirts and jackets frequently worn on the show. The right shoe features club pink as the accent for the Jumpman logos and "23", while the shark teeth come in game royal with electric green speckles. The left shoe features electric green as the accent for the Jumpman logos and "23", while the shark teeth are club pink with blue speckles.

The Girls Air Jordan line originated back in 1984 when Michael Jordan himself wore them as a rookie. After signing MJ to a $2.5 million (plus royalties), the first product was produced. In 1985 Nike designed Jordan’s first shoe the Girls Air Jordan 1. The Girls Air Jordan line features a unique logo; our beloved Jumpman. The Jumpman logo was first introduced on the Girls Air Jordan 3. The logo has now become iconic being used on both sneakers and apparel. The Girls Air Jordan craze began when the NBA originally banned the first pair, due to the lack of white present on the shoe. Michael wore them anyway and the marketing campaign for Nike was set. The brand has yet to slow down it’s progressive ways, proving that they are still pushing the limits with their innovative, new technologies. More info: New Air Jordans 2016
