New Air Jordans Retro Will Be Returning In The Summer Of 2017
When New Air Jordan Shoes confirmed that the iconic "Banned" colorway of the Air Jordan 1 would be rereleasing, everyone naturally started wondering about that sneaker's equally beloved counterpart, the "Royal" 1. Now we just have to wonder if they'll be built like the upcoming "Banned" 1s with tumbled leather attributes, or if they’ll feature the traditional smooth leather. According to zSneakerheadz, the classic black and blue 1s will be making their comeback in May of 2017. The kicks last released in 2013 and are currently on the market for over $1,000 at spots like Flight Club so the retro should be a blessing for sneakerheads abound.
The New Jordans 2016 Royal 1s will be joining the Chicagos, Breds, and possibly the Black Toes, as OG Air Jordan 1s that will be getting the remastered treatment. The Royal 1s are expected to release some time during the Summer of 2017 and will do so with a new premium look and of course the beloved Nike Air branding on the tongue. A few weeks ago we heard rumblings that the highly sought after Air Jordan 1 Royal could be returning some time in 2017. On the eve of the release of the Air Jordan 1 High OG Bred, it is now being confirmed by The Shoe Game that the Royals will indeed be returning next year.
