Jordan Brand had released a Retro Air Jordan 4s 2016
The Air Jordan 4 retro first released in 1999 to much fanfare from Air Jordans 2016 fans and sneakerheads. The retro Air Jordan 4 release was the first time that the newly formed Jordan Brand had released a retro Air Jordan. The Air Jordan 4 saw something unique to the shoe with the introduction of the Air Jordan 4 Retro +. While the shoes featured the outsole of the Air Jordan 4, the upper was slightly different with a removed mesh side and tongue panels replaced by perforated leather, leather “wings”, and leather heel tab. What stood out to most collectors was the absence of the NIKE AIR logo on the heel replaced instead with a solitary Jumpman. Although the craze for the Air Jordan 4 continues to trek-on despite being a couple weekends removed from the popular “Cement” release, the Jordan Brand has something else in mind to achieve the “fix” of many. That model arrives in the form of the Air Jordan 4 Retro GG White/Hyper Orange-Deep Royal that will soon be available.
Newest Jordans 2016, First released in 1989 and made famous in Spike Lee’s Do The Right Thing, the Air Jordan 4 “White Cement” is making a return as part of the Jordan Brand’s Remaster Program. The sneaker returns with fantastic premium white leather across the upper, featuring black and red accents, not to forget about the cement details. Jordan Brand could not have chosen a better moment to release this iconic silhouette and colorway. The Air Jordan 4 once again featured a visible Nike Air cushioned heel, full length midsole, as well as increased ankle and forefoot support by way of added straps commonly referred to as “wings” that laces would go through. The most signature element of the Air Jordan 4 was the gigantic heel tab with a big NIKE AIR branding that would be replaced with a Jumpman logo in retro releases following the 1999 retros that were true to original form.
