Newest Jordans 2016
, Public School NY is connecting with Jordan Brand on another pair. The next collaboration is the PSNY Air Jordan Horizon. Early reports showed the Air Jordan 12 receiving the PSNY treatment and now it's the Jordan Horizon's turn. We don't know much about the Horizon other than they take inspiration from the Jordan 13 and will be a follow up to the Future. The PSNY edition of the Jordan Horizon features a predominate black theme with hints of white throughout. The paneling is mesh with what appears to be a tribal like graphic. The last touch is the PSNY branding that runs down the tongue, Releasing in conjunction with Black History Month and Nike’s ongoing celebration of African-American heritage and excellence, strong design elements of the Air Jordan 13 shine through while the look noted in the famed Public School collaboration allows this aggressive yet alluring palette easier digestion.
Retro Jordans 2016
, Aside from the recent collaboration with Public School, this pair is a GR offering, which essentially means that it will be made available at retailers worldwide. In terms of its design, the model clearly takes cues from the iconic AJ 13. To subtly offset its stealthy finish, the upper and tongue section features a contrasting Grey netting detail. Hints of premium flair is introduced with the addition of leather implemented on the lining, as more tonal hits of Black adorn the laces and midsole. Finished off with a Grey outsole component and contrasting White accents seen on the tongue tab and insoles, the model features miniature Jumpman branding on the tongue and outsole. You can find this latest variation of the silhouette at select JB accounts overseas now.
The Jordan Horizon delivers sport-inspired comfort with an upscale aesthetic. It gives you a dressed-up, post-game option without compromising the ride. One-piece textile upper is flexible and lightweight. Leather binding outlines the tongue and collar for a premium look. Heel and forefoot Zoom Air units for low-profile, responsive cushioning. Translucent rubber for durability on a variety of surfaces. Rubber pods are strategically placed to maximize traction. Despite some initial mixed reactions, there's no doubt that many have warmed up to the Jordan Horizon, thanks to some interesting designs on the shoe like the high-profile Public School NY collab and another version that looked like… floor rugs? This time though, Jordan emphasizes the lifestyle aesthetic of the shoe by going with no print at all. This premium rendition features a seamless, all-black upper for a more subdued look, compared to the wild prints of previous releases. Also absent is the woven/mesh look from the first Horizon release, but it's clear that Jordan Brand is still trying to find what look is best for this shoe.
PSNY proved that the Jordan Horizon could hold down the lifestyle department with an awesome collaborative release and now New Jordans 2016
is taking the silhouette's graphic-heavy capabilities to task with the Jordan Horizon "BHM". The mesh upper utilizes a fairly similar graphic as Public School's collab, only this time, a black base is accented by bright Concord purple accents and a Metallic Gold for a familiar tribal print for the February celebration. The Jordan Westbrook 0 BHM comes in premium black leather upper that features ostrich texture throughout the base of the shoe. Gold detailing is found on the eyelets and lace dubrae, all while sitting on top of a icy blue translucent sole unit. The Jordan Horizon comes with a mesh upper that comes covered in a tribal pattern coming in shades of white, light blue and purple. A matching black midsole unit and greyish outsole is seen below, while the tonal laces and leather patches on the tongue detailed with Jumpman branding complete the major attributes of the shoe. Lastly, the Air Jordan 1 High comes predominantly in a black leather upper contrasted by the tribal pattern placed on the Nike Swoosh, tongue and ankle collar of the shoe. BHM branding is found on the tongue tag, while the white sole unit adds some contrast to the shoe.
